Our client is a fast-paced, growing law firm focusing on foreclosure law and probate in need of an independent contractor probate paralegal for 30-40 hours per week for in-person work at our Lake Worth, Florida, location.

Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of solid experience in supervising other paralegals and high-volume case management, managing Florida probate administrations (summary and formal), drafting pleadings, motions, petitions, and proposed orders, and navigating court systems throughout the State of Florida, as well as have excellent organizational skills and be comfortable working under time constraints. Knowledge of Salesforce and Practice Panther a huge plus.
About the Role:
The Paralegal they seek for will perform the following tasks:
- Drafting/Proofreading of pleadings, motions, orders, affidavits, etc.
- Client contact
- High Volume Case Management
- Communicating with courts and opposing counsel
- Distilling Judicial Instructions and scheduling hearings
- Research
- eFiling (statewide)
- All other aspects of litigation support work
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed and with at least three years of probate paralegal experience, including initiating and managing probate files from start to finish
- At least one year of foreclosure litigation experience
- CRM experience, especially Salesforce
- Professional demeanor and great attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints
